   Generation No. 1

      1.  J. B. Johnson, born August 23, 1911 in Weakley Co, Gleason, Tn; died March 26, 1957 in Gleason, TN.  He was the son of  2. Harmon C. Johnson and 3. Irene Stallcup.  He married (1) Sarah Adele Ossmer 1940 (in an airplane flying over in Bay City, MI - See Note Below *).  She was born July 26, 1924 in Lenawee County, MI.  She was the daughter of William Thomas Ossmer and Ethel Lucille Fitch.

Children of James B. Johnson and Sarah Ossmer are:

 

                           i.    John David Johnson, born March 11, 1949; died January 21, 2000 in Columbus, Ohio.

       2.  Harmon C. Johnson, born January 14, 1878 in Gleason, TN1; died September 09, 1956 in Gleason, Tn.  He was the son of 4. Elisha W. P. Johnson and 5. Mary Jane Grissom.  He married 3. Irene Stallcup December 23, 19092.

      3.  Irene Stallcup, born May 24, 1890 in Weakley Co, Tn; died 1976 in Gleason, TN.  She was the daughter of 6. James Henry Stallcup and 7. Martha Tennesee Rust.

Children of Harmon Johnson and Irene Stallcup are:

        1                 i.    J. B. Johnson, born August 23, 1911 in Weakley Co,, Gleason Tn; died March 26, 1957 in Gleason, TN; married Sarah Adele Ossmer 1942 in Bay City, MI.

                          ii.    Henry Bryant Johnson, born February 04, 1915 in Weakley Co, Tn; married Mary Rose Simpson.

                         iii.    John Lee Johnson, born May 18, 1922; married Margie Hicks.

      4.  Elisha W. P. Johnson, born March 17, 1837 in Alabama3; died May 24, 1918 in Weakley Co, Tn.  He was the son of 8. John Phillip Johnson and 9. Mary Harrall.  He married 5. Mary Jane Grissom September 15, 1864 in Weakley Co., TN4.

      5.  Mary Jane Grissom, born 1844 in Tn; died March 14, 1900 in Weakley Co, Tn.

      6.  James Henry Stallcup, born December 21, 1866; died September 09, 1931.  He was the son of 12. John R. Stallcup and 13. Mary Jane Hunter.  He married 7. Martha Tennesee Rust.

      7.  Martha Tennesee Rust, born August 10, 1866 in Weakley Co, Tn; died 1956 in Weakley Co, Tn.

      8.  John Phillip Johnson, born October 19, 1790 in Virginia; died December 18, 1836 in Weakley County, Tn.  He married 9. Mary Harrall October 19, 1820 in Lawarence Co. AL5.

      9.  Mary Harrall, born 1802 in North Carolina; died March 15, 1900 in Weakley Co, Tn.

      12.  John R. Stallcup, born June 20, 1824 in Gibson So, TN; died March 19, 1915.  He was the son of 24. George Jr. Stallcup and 25. Annie Pullen Root.  He married 13. Mary Jane Hunter.

      13.  Mary Jane Hunter, born 1829 in Sumner Co., TN; died February 05, 1981.

Children of John Stallcup and Mary Hunter are:

      24.  George Jr. Stallcup, born 1802.  He was the son of 48. George Stallcup.  He married 25. Annie Pullen Root.

      25.  Annie Pullen Root, died 1837; Drowned in Mississippi River.

        12               i.    John R. Stallcup, born October 24, 1824 in Gibson So, TN; died March 19, 1915; married Mary Jane Hunter.

      48.  George Stallcup, born 1770 in Orange Co., North Carolina; died 1835 in Toney Co. MS.  He was the son of 96. Tobias Stallcup.

* As my dad was growing, up his mother is reported to have often stated that no woman on earth was good enough for her boy - hence the wedding ceremony, conducted several thousand feet above the earth, in a chartered plane. The newspaper article on the wedding was titled "J. B. Johnson Marries an Angel".
